08.08.2017:  As college students prepare to return to Ohio’s college and university campuses, agents with the Ohio Investigative Unit are working closely with school administrators and police departments to curb excessive alcohol consumption. Last month, agents participated in the Second Annual Ohio Town & Gown Summit hosted by Miami University and the city of Oxford. The summit is an opportunity for Ohio’s cities and universities staff to meet, identify common challenges, share best practices and learn from one another. Agents participated in a session regarding battling high risk alcohol consumption. The session included information pertaining legal matters, enforcing the alcohol laws, and raising the perceived cost of consuming alcohol and reducing the perceived benefits.
